We are Chris + Jessie

We know what it is like to plan the wedding of your dreams- we organized our own from opposite sides of the world.

We were married on the West Coast of Ireland (as that is where Chris is from), and had friends and family coming from the US (Jessie’s home) and all over the globe. We knew this was the one time that the most important people in our lives would all be in one place, and they were there for us!

Our wedding was perfect.

The portraits we had were beautiful, but the photographs of the interactions, reactions, and emotions between us and our loved ones were the moments that cannot be recreated.

The photographs that we treasure the most from our wedding are the real moments because they remind us of how we felt.

These are the precious memories that we are committed to capturing from your perfect day.

We’ve photographed over a hundred weddings and every one has been unique.

All those countless beautiful REAL moments are what we are truly proud of.

We are honored to be able to tell each authentic story and give our couples those emotional moments to cherish forever.

Meet Chris

Born in Donegal, Ireland Chris bought a “round the world” ticket at twenty years old and had no home address until he was 37 (and married for a year).  He is an adventurer, a nature lover, and an empath to the core. His curiosity for photography was ignited as a child and many of his early memories are through the viewfinder of a camera.

Whether hiking, exploring, or just relaxing, Chris loves to be in nature. He also loves to create, build, or fix things, and is fascinated by how things work. If he is ever distracted, he is usually researching, designing, or making something incredible.

Before capturing weddings, Chris was:

- A toymaker (yes- a real-life elf)

- A band “roadie” in the French Alps

- A mountain guide

- A ships officer on megayachts

He has traveled to over 50 countries, photographing people, wildlife, and landscapes in some of the most beautiful and remote places in the world. While photographing beautiful places gave him a deep understanding of composing a beautiful image, he has found that capturing the connection between people and the essence of relationships is far more interesting.

Meet Jessie

Before capturing weddings, Jessie was:

- a professional fine artist

- a special education teacher

- a geriatric care manager

- a surf instructor

Jessie is all about connections and details. She was always an artist, and was painting and drawing as early as two years old. She also loves yoga and mixed movement, making her house as close to a jungle as possible, and any activity that involves water or sunshine.

She is extremely close with her family and the proud auntie of five awesome nephews and the world’s sweetest niece. Jessie is usually laughing-mostly at at herself and is often described as lighthearted and quirky. She is warm and friendly, and easily breaks down social barriers with her self-deprecating humor (or at least she thinks so).
